This weekend we competed at the final recognized Maryland Horse Trial. Kate was competing five horses, Jenny competed her horse, and I competed Dobbin at Novice.
Dobbin had a great dressage warm up but was a little deep during his test. We ended up with a 40.9 which was Dobbins best score in his novice test so far. Later that day I had show jumping, I went a little early and had a clean round with no time penalties but I received four penalties for circling. By the time I received a few parting words they were calling thirty seconds till my cross country starts. Dobbin had an amazing round! Jumping fences and combinations that he had never seen before like they were no problem! Dobbin was so happy with eighth place! Such a success
