About the Horses

Let Them Eat Cake 2010 OTTB

Marie was purchased by Emily's parents as a 17th birthday present from After The Races At just five years old she has already shown that she has incredible scope and talent. Emily plans to pursue eventing Marie starting in winter 2015.

Mudville 2003 OTTB

Sasha was purchased to be Emily's first upper level horse in the summer of 2013. Having already competed through the preliminary level successfully she shows great scope to be an advanced horse and show Emily along the way. In 2013 Emily showed her through the training level, and in 2014 they began campaigning through the upper levels.

Baby Dobbin 2005 conamara/hackney/draft

    Dobbin is a wonderful mount found by Emily's younger sister Teagan. He was purchased to be part of her mother's lesson program as a three year old, but the fit was not right for him. A heart of gold, knees to go for miles, and wonderful movement he inhereted from his Hackney side is what propelled Emily and Dobbin to move through the lower levels together as a pair. He is an incredible confidence builder, and safe for all ages. In the summer of 2013 Dobbin was sold on to young rider Katherine from PA to teach her the ropes of eventing

Captain Jack Sparrow 1995 Welsh X

     Jack was purchased as Emily's pony when she was 6 years old. They spotted Jack at the Garret County Fair Grounds where he won 2 blue ribbons. Emily's mom tricked her into thinking they were getting the pony for a student, and surprised Emily when they went to pick him up. Jack had lovely movement and a great jump. They made their Baby Beginner Novice debut at Full Moon Farm, before Emily outgrew him in 2010. Winter of 2013 JAck was given to a new home so that he could gie pony rides to the families young grandchildren

Sabrina The Teenage Witch OTTB

     Brought to Emily when she was 5 by Daryl Bushling, "Sabrina" was an off the track thoroughbred famous for taking care of small children as if they were her foals. Sabrina helped Emily go to her first few shows, and get her D-1 in pony club. Sadly, Sabrina passed away in 2009.
